An Ontario Certificate of Status, previously known as a Certificate of Good Standing, is a legal document issued by the government of Ontario, Canada, to confirm the current standing and legitimacy of a registered business entity. The certificate confirms that the business is compliant with all necessary legal requirements, such as tax obligations, filings, and registrations. It attests that the business is active, in good standing, and duly authorized to operate in Ontario.
